An artist, designer, and certified art teacher, Kelly Diaz founded the Production Design Program at the Academy for Careers in Television & Film in 2010.  Kelly has taught diverse subject matter, from acrylic painting to German Expressionist film, from Adobe Photoshop to oxyacetylene welding.  She has taught a wide range of students, from suburban private school to inner city public school.  Kelly has taught students ranging in age from five years old to sixty-five years old, including high school and college.

On the best days, she smiles, looks around the classroom and thinks, “I can’t believe I get paid for this!” And on the worst days, Kelly finds humor and beauty in the small things, and she smiles and laughs as much as possible.

Kelly specializes in Art, Design, and Career & Tech Education.  To see Kelly's online portfolio, visit www.kellydiaz.com.  To learn more about her lesson plans and view samples of her student's work, contact her directly via e-mail, at kellytrainsteachers@gmail.com.
